achievements through our alliance with vitrogen
- In one year, Vitrogen has done 3,203 aspirations, collected
52,225 oocytes, produced 18,117 embryos and performed 12,387 transfers,
with a pregnancy average of 35.37 and nearly 4,589 pregnancies.
- During 2004 new records were set, like those of the Red
Brahman El Caney Duchess dynasty 662 – 2 donor, from which in a
single aspiration 113 viable oocytes were obtained, 49 embryos were
produced and 27 pregnancies. This brings a whole new dimension to in
vitro production, if we keep in mind that an extraordinary cow can
have, at best, half this number of calves in her whole lifetime.
