FOLLICULAR ASPIRATION
This technique makes it
possible to obtain more viable oocytes from dead or live cows by
performing an aspiration of their developing follicles; in the case of
live cows, a special treatment and a trained team guided by ultrasound
are needed. By using this technique, we can guarantee that up to 150
calves can be obtained from a single cow in a year. In doing so, we
fulfill our goals regarding genetic improvement, since we are
increasing the number of calves per cow each year, and reducing
generational interval.
